Firefighter Training Needs Assessment
In an effort to provide the most useful and relevant training possible, the Division of Fire Safety and the Missouri Fire Safety Advisory/Education Commission are seeking suggestions from Missouri’s fire service. Training funds are appropriated annually to the Division of Fire Safety to provide cost-free training for firefighters in Missouri.
How these funds are distributed is determined by the Fire Safety Advisory/Education Commission. The members of this commission are appointed by Missouri’s Governor from fire service positions in departments across the state. This assessment survey is designed to give Missouri’s fire service a voice when the commission decides funding for no-cost training. The assessment should be completed by the fire chief or training officer for each department and submitted to the Division of Fire Safety annually.
