Fire Fighters Day at Missouri Capitol has been canceled

Due to COVID-19 and concern for the public health, the Missouri General Assembly is encouraging people who are not directly participating in legislative business NOT to visit the Capitol at this time.

With that in mind and out of an abundance of caution, the Division of Fire Safety has decided to cancel all events associated with this year’s Fire Fighters Day at the Capitol, which were scheduled for Tuesday, March 17 and Wednesday, March 18.

DFS is now exploring other ways to facilitate fire service members connecting and communicate with their legislators. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more information.
